14th Annual Scholarship Banquet

04514th Annual Scholarship Banquet
Each year, 100 Black Men of Columbus and Golden Triangle maintains a class of about 15 proteges as part of the organization's mentoring program. Each protege is an African-American male student in seventh-through-12th grade who is personally mentored by a member of the 100 Black Men.

"Our mentoring program is our organization biggest focus," said Dr. John Robinson, president of the 100 Black Men of Columbus and the Golden Triangle. "What we try to do through the mentoring program is to expose the proteges to positive situations and positive, influential people. We show them what life's possibilities are and most os them choose that path."
